The Fremont community continues to find creative ways to celebrate the season, with the Lighting of the Troll and Fremont Festivus.
The Fremont Arts Council (FAC) events committee has created a public survey to collect information on potential volunteers and attendees at the annual ‘Feast of the Winter Solstice’.
Everyone is invited to join in for a tasty meal at the Wallingford Community Senior Center. Even if you don’t want to eat – volunteers are being sought.
On Thursday, November 15th, from 5:30p – 7:30p, the Fremont location of Flow Fitness (in the basement of the Featherspring Building, at 710 N 35th St) will celebrate its first year providing health and wellness to our community.
Along the triangled block of North 35th Street, the shops (and one restaurant) have decided to mark the Day Of The Dead, with decorations, deals and dedications.
On Friday, November 2nd, from 6p – 9p, the Fremont Art Walk will welcome visitors to come explore 15 locations, several of which will be celebrating the Day of the Dead in addition to the art and artists of Art Walk.
On December 7th, 8th & 9th, Fremont Festivus returns with all sorts of FREE activities and entertainments for shoppers seeking a Fremont holiday!
On Saturday, October 27th, from 8p – 2a, the Fremont Foundry will once again host the Fremonster Spectacular Halloween Party extravaganza. The Fremonster Spectacular is a benefit party for The World Is Fun, a volunteer organization that helps philanthropic people find fun and engaging service projects.
On September 21st, 22nd & 23rd, the Fremont Oktoberfest will return to the Center of the Universe, bringing plenty of entertainment and education – plus, beer!
