This Friday, December 2nd, from 6p – 9p, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk showcases the artists and art and holiday-themed gifts at several small retailers and restaurants around the Center of the Universe.
Friday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 4th, Fremont Festivus will be celebrated at the Center of the Universe. Come stroll the ‘hood, and its great collection of shops and restaurants, while we see in the season of cookies, community and crass commercialism!
The Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will once again hold its annual celebration of the darkest, longest night of the year – the Feast of the Winter Solstice on December 21st. On Monday, November 28th at 7p, at The Powerhouse, the FAC will hold an official planning meeting for this year’s celebration – which will not be a public event.
The first weekend in December is now Fremont Festivus, and plenty of fun and free activities are being planned for the enjoyment of local families – and everyone looking for ways to enjoy the holiday season in festive (and fabulously funky) ways!
On Saturday, November 19th, from 2p – 6p, the Naturopathic Family Medicine clinic will host an Aloha Party for Dr. Tamara Evans.
The Fremont Arts Council (FAC) welcomes everyone to come make art in the public Powerhouse workshop at 3940 Fremont Ave N, for free! This month, they will host lantern making sessions, in preparation for Luminata at dusk on September 21st at Green Lake.
