On Thursday, December 24th, two of Fremont’s churches offer services that celebrate Christmas, and host community meals to bring us all together.
On Monday, December 21st, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will once again host their annual, art-filled celebration of the longest night of the year, with a potluck, music, and ritual – and, most important of all, the supportive, caring arts community gathered together. The Feast of the Winter Solstice is a visual and sensory experience unlike anything else done at this time of the year, a family-friendly entertainment for all, until 11p when it transforms into a grown-up DJ-ed dance party.
Usher in the New Year with a special performance of CSz Seattle’s sell-out The Blue Show. Leave the kids at home for this night of bawdy, outrageous improv comedy at Blue Years Eve at Atlas Theater!
Theo Chocolate Factory has sales and special roll-outs happening all this month, but in the final days before Christmas, they will hold two very attractive events for those still searching for the perfect holiday moment.
On Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th, from 10a – 6p, the Fred Meyer store between Ballard and Fremont (and behind Hale’s,) will host Santa Claus, for photos, the telling of wishes, and accepting donations to Relay For Life and The American Cancer Society.

On December 2nd, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce presented its annual awards for area heroes improving and strengthening the community here at the Center of the Universe.
On Saturday, December 12th, Dusty Strings will hold its 30th Annual Holiday Party & Open House, from 10a – 9p.
