Give Vital Community Input on the Future Troll’s Knoll Park

On Wednesday, June 11th, from 6:30p – 7:45p, at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, the Seattle Department of Parks & Recreation, the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and Harrison Design invite the Fremont community – and all Troll lovers! – to a long-awaited public meeting on the design of the Troll’s Knoll Park.

Call For Artists To Create For Fire Station #22

The Seattle City Office of Arts & Culture has issued a call for artists, in partnership with the Department of Finance & Administrative Services and the Seattle Fire Department, for a permanent or site-integrated art installation for the Roanoke Fire Station #22. The deadline for this call is Monday, June 9th at 11p.

Upcoming Workshops On Neighborhood Matching Fund

Have a great idea for a community project? Looking for funding for your vision for Fremont? The City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is hosting two community workshops for those interested in applying for Small & Simple Project Funds this June, for a matching award of up to $25,000.

More Closures Coming For SR 99/Aurora Avenue North

On April 21st & 22nd (Monday and Tuesday,) the on-ramp from Denny Way onto northbound State Route 99/Aurora Avenue North will be closed from 11:30p – 5a. In addition, during the same days and hours, the right northbound lane of Aurora Avenue North will be closed between the Battery Street Tunnel and Valley Street.
