Input Needed On Fremont Siphon Site Design

At the Fremont Siphon Open House, the project team shared the new layout for the site of a permanent structure and access panels, and two design options. A structure for odor control must be constructed, and input at a January 2013 public design workshop developed two potential options which need input for deciding between them.

Celebrate The Fremont Library – And Sundays – On February 10th

On Sunday, February 10th, from 2p – 3:30p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library (SPL) will host one of the celebrations taking place all over the city. For the first time in at least a century, all libraries are open on Sundays – and from January through May 5th, branch libraries all over Seattle will mark the occasion.

Design Workshop Upcoming for Fremont Siphon Project

On Saturday, January 12th, from 10a – 2p, King County invites everyone to attend a design workshop for the Fremont Siphon Replacement Project, to be held at B.F. Day Elementary School. The Project will include a facility to be built on the Fremont side of the Lake Washington Ship Canal, and members of our community will have this opportunity to shape the architecture and landscape vision of this permanent structure.
