Seattle Public Utilities Issues Updates on Garbage Pick-Up, Storm Drains and Pipes

Current ice and snow conditions have been fairly mild in Fremont, compared to the rest of Seattle, and King County. Seattle Public Utilities still plans regular garbage collection during the storm, and issued suggestions about storm drains and pipes. Also, information from the City of Seattle Office of Emergency Management, and tips on how to ‘Take Winter By Storm,’ can be found on www.takewinterbystorm.org. Fremont Chamber Hosts Its Annual ‘Events Meeting’ on January 18th

On Wednesday, January 18th, at 8a, at the Lake Washington Rowing Club, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will host its annual gathering for event organizers and community members. Attendees can hear plans about this year’s activities, learn the promotional opportunities available to area businesses, raise concerns about past experiences, suggest improvements, and get involved on the ground level as a volunteer.
