Celebrate Festivus With Not A Number Cards & Gifts

On Saturday, December 17th, between Noon and 7p, the wacky folks at Not A Number will celebrate the season with a selection of traditional Festivus rituals including the Airing Of Grievances, Feats of Strength (including Rock’em Sock’em Robots, thumb wrestling, tater tot toss, etc.,) and a selection of Festivus poles.

Tickets Available For A Limited Time For The FAC Winter Feast

For the first time in many years, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will sell tickets to their singular Winter Solstice Feast celebration. Traditionally only volunteers who participated in creating this evening of food, music and art were allowed to attend. This year a very limited number of tickets have been made available for purchased – in advance only – through Brown Paper Tickets.

This weekend the Fremont Players invite everyone who wants to see live theater – and interact with it from the safety of their chair – to come down to Hale’s Palladium for their new production of ‘Peter Pan’. Tickets are selling fast at Brown Paper Tickets – and if you can’t get in this weekend, hurry and book seats for the second half of the run on the weekends of January 7th & 8th, and January 14th & 15th.

Early Morning Vehicular Assault on 36th Street

According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD) blotter, by Detective Renee Witt, at approximately 2a on Saturday, December 10th, a man in his 20s drove his vehicle into a crowd of six people, near Phinney Avenue North and North 36th Street.

Volunteers Sought for B.F. Day After School Tutoring Program

Every school year students at B.F. Day Elementary School (many of who come from new immigrant families where English is not spoken at home) need homework assistance, and they can get it from area volunteers.
