The popular Prince & Michael Jackson Experience with DJ Dave Paul returns to Nectar Lounge on Friday, May 22nd, starting at 9p. Playing album cuts, B-sides, un-released tracks, remixes, 12” versions and hits from the two artists, there will be much more to this party than just music – including theme dancing, and a face-off between guests repping The Purple One or The King Of Pop.
On June 20th, at 3p, the 27th Annual Solstice Parade, as produced by the Fremont Arts Council (FAC), takes to the streets of our fun and festive community. This outrageous spectacle requires hundreds of volunteers to create – and two particular volunteer positions are absolutely vital. Can you consider helping, and recruiting friends to help as well?
Find all kinds of neighborhood treasures, plus free samples of food, drink and products, at this free, community event. Neighborhood Expo will take place at Fremont Studios on Friday, May 22nd from 4:30p – 7:30p.
StoryBook Theater presents ‘The Ugly Duckling’ at venues around the region, and on Saturday, May 16th, at 3p & 5p, they bring this interactive musical children’s show to Fremont, at Hale’s Palladium.
On May 16th & 17th, Salsa Con Todo will offer a weekend of classes in Ladies Salsa Styling, taught by the talented and popular Charlene Rose. The entire weekend of classes is available for $100, or attend individual workshops for $30 each.
On Saturday, June 6th, at 3p, everyone is welcome to a community-wide sharing of stories on the events of Fremont Month. At History House, on June 6th, come take part in a Chat on the origins of all these events, and share your own favorite memories.
On Sunday, May 10th and Sunday, May 17th, Outlander Pub & Brewery will be hosting four special, limited-seating, chef-prepared meals. For $35 per person, enjoy a three-course meal, expertly matched to three of Outlander Breweries unique beers.
On Saturday, May 9th, from 5p – 10p, the Seattle Emergency Communication Hubs will host their annual spring training so neighbors and volunteers can learn about the program, about what happens when it gets dark, and about how to manage information.
