This year, 2014, Solid Ground celebrates its 40th Anniversary (and forty years of fighting to end poverty) with a very special keynote speaker – filmmaker Spike Lee – featured at its fundraising luncheon. The luncheon takes place at The Westin, 1900 – 5th Ave, on Friday, April 4th from Noon – 1:30p.

On April 18th & 19th, the annual Hop Scotch Festival opens with entertainment and education for all fans of local hops and fine Scotch. Volunteer! Over 300 people (21+) are needed to help this fundraiser for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce Community Grants Program.
