On Wednesday, January 18th, at 8a, at the Lake Washington Rowing Club, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will host its annual gathering for event organizers and community members. Attendees can hear plans about this year’s activities, learn the promotional opportunities available to area businesses, raise concerns about past experiences, suggest improvements, and get involved on the ground level as a volunteer.

On Saturday, January 14th, starting at 7p, local band Pickled Okra will entertain their fans, and soon-to-be fans, at The Gypsy café, as they celebrate the release of their new CD, called ‘Sounds Like Chicken.’ The CD will be given out free to all ticket buyers. On Sunday, January 15th, at 6p, The Hallows Church will gather for its monthly worship service at 717 North 35th Street. This non-traditional church began in spring of 2011 and has held monthly worship since November.
On Friday, January 13th, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will host another of its popular, quarterly Women’s Networking Social gatherings, from 4p – 6p, at the 509 Wines Tasting Room.
This Saturday, January 7th, from 6p – 10p, Doric Lodge #92 invites all Fremonsters to come share a meal, enjoy some music and dance!
Neo-burlesque troupe, the Backbar Beauties, return to Backdoor @ Roxy’s to perform their monthly tease. On January 8th, the Forbidden Fruit show has two seatings – at 7p and 9p.
