In a few weeks, by August 6th, Seattle voters will be selecting the primary candidates for Seattle City Council – by district. Those who live in East Fremont (east of Aurora Avenue,) are in District #4, along with residents of Wedgewood, U-District, Laurelhurst and Ravenna.
At 7p on Mondays at Hale’s Ales Brewery, Music Mondays brings live music, by some incredibly talented musicians, to this fun and tasty venue.
The dates for Moisture Festival in 2020 have been scheduled – March 12th to April 5th – and everyone can expect to see some of the most incredible performers at our annual vaudeville showcase.
Everyone who contributed to creating the spectacular Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade celebration art installation is invited to the Parade Afterglow Party on Saturday, June 29th from 7p – Midnight, at the Wallingford Senior Center.
On Sunday, June 30th, from 5p to 8p, the Down Under Gallery (downstairs at 465 N 36th St, in the Fremocentrist.com office) will host a Reception for Duo Rêves, a painter, aerialist, actor, chandler, and filmmaker.
The Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade is tomorrow, June 22nd, at 1p, and the spectacular display of Celebration Art will be led off by the Solstice Cyclists, and 100s of other Painted Bicycle Riders.
This weekend, June 22nd & 23rd, the place for fun and festivities is at the Fremont Street Fair – and it is a great time to take the bus to the Center of the Universe!
At Bar House on Saturday, June 22nd, at 2p, there will be a long line-up of live music, plus DJ Sid Licious, immediately after the Fremont Solstice Parade passes by. This free show will be held at one of Fremont’s smallest and most casual drinking establishments, open to everyone 21+.
On Saturday, June 22nd at 1p, the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade will roll its active and creative art down the streets of the Center of the Universe, led by the Solstice Cyclists and other body-painted bike riders.
