At 8a on Sunday, July 15th, the final match of the FIFA World Cup will be aired in Seattle. Among the many places airing the World Cup Final, Shawn O’Donnell’s Fremont and Everett locations will be open, with drink specials and delicious food.
On Wednesday, July 18th, at 8a, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will offer an informative panel discussion on Women In Business, focusing on those powerhouse females who work in real estate and development.

On Monday, July 16th, from 6:30p – 8:30p, the Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will be host a one-night course through the North Seattle College called the ‘Choose Your European Wine Tour,’ as taught by Sommelier David LeClaire and Barrel Thief owner (and expert) Christopher Gronbeck.
For those in need of practice speaking English, as a second or even fifth language, the Seattle Public Library is hosting several weekly Talk Time conversation groups – including one at our own Fremont Branch Library on Mondays at 4p, starting July 9th.
On Friday, July 6th, from 6p – 9p, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk returns, to provide culture and gather a community at the Center of the Universe.
On Saturday, July 7th, from 5:30p – 9p at Fremont Studios, the Washington Distillers Guild’s PROOF will gather 48 craft distilleries from around our State (with a few from Oregon and Canada,) to allow for sips and samples of hand-made spirits.
A fundraiser conducted by the Rotary Club of Fremont, on behalf of the B.F. Day School Playground Improvement project, was a naming contest for the Dinosaur Topiaries, which the Club keep trimmed and neat as part of their quarterly Burke-Gilman Trail clean-up. And the official names are: Dino & Dora!!
