The BECU Zoo Tunes concerts, presented by Carter Subaru, will take place all summer long, with live music on the vast North Meadow of Woodland Park Zoo. Announced concerts so far include Ziggy Marley and Garrison Keillor.

This Saturday, on April 22nd, at 7:30p, Orchestra Seattle & the Seattle Chamber Singers (OSSCS) will perform at the First Free Methodist Church (near Seattle Pacific University,) a concert that includes Brahms ‘A German Requiem.’ And on May 13th, starting at 6p, the OSSCS will return to Fremont, at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, for a fundraising auction, La Nuit Infinie, to support their musical program.

Local filmmaker Michael Falcone’s documentary, ‘The Hall Of Giants: The Story of Fremont & The Troll’, has been nominated for Best Documentary and Best Cinematography prizes at the Nice International Film Festival in France. On Monday, May 15th, the film will be shown to audiences and judges, with the prize bestowed on the winning film on May 20th.
