On Saturday, June 18th, from 6a – 3p, the Seattle Rock-N-Roll Marathon returns to Seattle Center and CenturyLink Field. On Saturday, June 18th, the Fremont Fair & the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade will return to the Center of the Universe – and those attempting to come and go to our celebrations can expect to find their ways, by transit or traffic, impeded.
On Friday, June 3rd, the Fremont Fun Run & Briefcase Relay will race through the neighborhood, starting and finishing at Fremont Brewing. After running, walking or just cheering on the participants, stroll through the neighborhood, and check out the Fremont First Friday Art Walk venues.
It’s time to gather together and build a parade. On June 18th, at 3p, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) Solstice Parade will take to the streets – and we need you to help build it.
On Saturday, May 28th, from 1p – 4:30p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library (SPL) will host the SPL African-American Film Series with a free screening of the award-winning ‘Malcolm X’.
This Saturday, May 28th, at 10a, the final free workout for May takes place in Solstice Plaza, beside the Fremont Anytime Fitness.
On Saturday, May 28th, meet with friends and neighbors at Patrick Place Apartments for a community clean-up, starting at 9:30a.

On Monday, May 23rd, at 7p, at Doric Lodge #92, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will meet to discuss issues and projects affecting the residents of our community.
In its ‘Devil May Care’ concert, Orchestra Seattle & Seattle Chamber Singers (OSSCS) will perform works at the First Free Methodist Church from composers at particularly happy times in their lives. The concert takes place on Sunday, May 22nd starting at 3p.
