On Tuesday, March 19th, at 4p Fiasco opens for dinner service in the former Thackeray Kitchen space, serving salumi, salads, pizzas, pastas and homemade desserts. This is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant that combines welcoming service with a comfortable interior.
On Thursday, March 21st, from 5p – 8p, attend ‘Disappearing Seattle: A Happy Hour with Artist Daphne Minkoff’ at the Fremont office of Infiniti Real Estate & Development.

On Tuesday, February 26th, at 6:30p, Quiz Night for B.F. Day returns to Pecado Bueno. This popular evening of pub-style trivia is also a fundraiser with 100% of donations collected going straight to the B.F. Day Elementary School PTSA.

While road conditions have improved, slightly, temperatures are still predicted to be so low tonight that the Fremont Sunday Market, and the Food Truck Round-Up, planned for February 10th, have been rescheduled.
This week, on February 6th, the Red Star Taco Bar re-opened for business. UPDATE: The stalwart folk at Red Star will attempt to remain open during the snowstorm due this weekend – but check the Facebook page, for updates.
The Emmanuel Bible Church operates a Men’s Shelter through the winter, and they depend upon volunteers to cook or serve a meal to visitors each night. If you, or your group/organization, would be willing to reserve a meal service date, the shelter needs more help – especially on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
On Thursday, February 7th, at 6:30p, local garden and food writer Tara Austen Weaver will be at The Book Larder for the book launch of her latest title, ‘Growing Berries and Fruit Trees in the Pacific Northwest.’
