Over the next three weekends, volunteers are vitally needed to help build a new playground on the Upper Playfields at B.F. Day School. Best of all, the new play area was designed by the students.
This summer, the community is coming together to improve the play area in the public, ADA accessible B.F. Day School Upper Playfields. Over three Saturdays, volunteers are being sought to help with clearing the area and installing new play equipment – then replacing the surface materials.
On Wednesday, August 16th, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual summer social gathering, with pizza and Fremont beer – and a mystery tour of our ‘hood with Ride The Ducks.
Mark your calendar for Park(ing) Day on Friday, September 15th, when community members can create street parks and/or temporary art installations out of on-street parking spaces.

Next week, on Tuesday, July 18th, from 6p – 8p, three local business networking organizations – the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce and the U District Partnership – will be co-hosting a Tri-Chamber BBQ at University House. Right now, the Fremont Chamber is also accepting sign-ups for the 2017 Fremont Wiffleball Universe Classic.
