On Saturday, June 17th, from 9a – 12:30p, at the Fremont Foundry, Fremonsters of all ages can come together to enjoy a Solstice Brunch with music, games, beverages, and, of course, food!
On Saturday, May 20th, from Noon – 5p, attend a community Carnival! as we all celebrate an incredible milestone – the 125th Anniversary of B.F. Day Elementary School. Our public school is the longest continually operating in the Seattle Public Schools, and it is one of our oldest institutions. More importantly, perhaps, B.F. Day has educated our youth now for 125 years.
This Saturday, on May 13th, from 11a – 1p, the Fremont Historical Society will kick-off celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the opening of the Fremont Cut of the Lake Union Ship Canal, and the Fremont Bridge. Attend the reception to learn more about this important milestone celebration.
Next Wednesday, on May 10th, from midnight to midnight, the Seattle Foundation will host its annual Day of Philanthropy, where our on-line donations to area non-profits can be stretched through strategic corporate matches. This year, early-bird pledges can be accepted for GiveBIG in advance of May 10th, with the donation to be processed on that day.

On Monday, May 1st, at 5p, the Fremont Arts Council invites all ages to join in their community potluck, with dancing, a May pole, and games, at Lower Woodland Park Shelter #6.

The Seattle Public Library Fremont Branch has several upcoming activities, all free, where community members can come together to learn, play and build on our resources, at Talk Time, Book Club, and Unplug & Play.
On first Saturdays, from 2p – 5p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library invites everyone to come play board games, cards and coloring in books.
