This Saturday, July 20th, gather up the gang and head to the B.F. Day Upper Playfields for fun, fellowship, food and free games – from 11a – 2p!
On Sunday, July 14th, between 7a – 1p, the third annual See Jane Run Women’s Half Marathon & 5K Race will begin and end inside Gas Works Park. Utilizing the Burke-Gilman Trail and area sidewalks, the race route will take runners around Lake Union – including portions of Fremont. Racers are expected to impact Fremont area traffic most between 8a – 10a.
Your wait is over! The Fremont Outdoor Cinema starts this Saturday, July 13th, at dusk, with a screening of the always-enlightening, achingly-awesome ‘Dumb And Dumber.’
On Sunday, June 30th, from 2p – 4p, kick back in the covered courtyard at History House for another installment in the 9th Annual Music In The Sculpture Garden (MITSG) summer concert series. This time, enjoy the talents of a Pacific Northwest icon – P.K. Dwyer – along with the comic sensibility of singer-songwriter Howlin’ Hobbit.

This Saturday, June 15th, from 11a – 2p, The Hallows Church will host the first of three Community Block Parties they have planned for this summer. This one, to be held in the B.F. Day Upper Playfield, is open-to-the-public, who can enjoy free burgers, hot dogs and drinks.
This Sunday, June 16th, at 2p, enjoy another installment of the 9th Annual Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series in the covered courtyard of History House. This week the free, open-to-the-public concert features original music by singer-songwriters Stanley & Kip Greenthal and traditional and original Shetland music by North Sea.
At the Fremont Fair, June 21st – 23rd, art in every form – from body paint to community sculptures – can be found along the streets of the Center of the Universe. This celebration of “De Libertas Quirkas,” (the Freedom to Be Peculiar) can be enjoyed through the artistic whimsies of chalk art, handmade jewelry, and live music.
This weekend, June 8th & 9th, our local museum, History House of Greater Seattle, offers two free, enriching afternoon’s entertainments appropriate for all ages.
