On Tuesday, November 27th, from 4p – 8p, the Rotary Club of Fremont will wait and bus tables at Pecado Bueno for everyone that comes to buy great food, enjoy fun entertainment, and/or show their support for our school, our kids and improving our community!
Halloween looks to offer plenty o’ fun this year, particularly for the short of stature and life-experience among us. That is, of course, for the children! Enjoy Halloween Hoopla, Trick-or-Treat In Fremont, and Bubbleman – and the annual celebration of the Fremont Troll’s birthday!
The Fremont Players have announced the dates of this year’s holiday British Panto. Their outrageous production of ‘Sleeping Beauty & The Pea,’ will do a month-long run at Hale’s Palladium, on Saturdays & Sundays, from December 15th, 2012 to January 13th, 2013.
On Saturday, November 10th, at 2p, History House will unveil the results of an extensive history project entitled, ‘Fremont: Timber to Troll.’ Volunteers are anxiously sought to help with organizing and assisting with the presentation, leading up to and during the November 10th event.
On October 31st, from 4p – 5p, Fremont will enjoy a special Fall phenomenon – a bubble-xtravaganza by Seattle’s own Bubbleman, Garry Golightly, at Red Triangle.
All friends of History House of Greater Seattle are invited to come help clean the grounds and get the gardens ready for winter on Saturday, October 13th starting at 10a.
A second community meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd, from 7p – 9p, on the renovation of the Woodland Park play area. The Seattle Parks & Recreation will host a meeting at the Phinney Neighborhood Association in Room 1, inviting feedback on the schematic designs for the park.
The Fremont Oktoberfest, this coming weekend on September 21st, 22nd, & 23rd, is an outrageous opportunity for beer lovers – and people of all ages to turn out and have a great time with plenty of attractions for all!
Last weekend, Sep 8th & 9th, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce produced the first-ever Universe Classic Wiffle Ball Tournament – and it appears to have been a smashing success!
On behalf of Screaming Flea Productions (Hoarders, Sell This House,) Fremont resident Alicia Raymond has issued an invitation for a family that wants to undergo a back-to-nature re-booting of their lives for a reality show pilot called, ‘Big Family Fix.’
