This Fall, a free, open writing workshop series continues at the Fremont Branch Library – and at many other branches city-wide. As part of the annual Seattle Writes program, the Seattle Public Library will host over 35 writing workshops through the end of November.

For those in need of practice speaking English, as a second or even fifth language, the Seattle Public Library is hosting several weekly Talk Time conversation groups – including one at our own Fremont Branch Library on Mondays at 4p, starting July 9th.
Beginning July 1st, the Seattle Public Library (SPL) will open a month-long submission period for Seattle musicians interested in adding an original music album to ‘Playback’, an ever-expanding collection of local music curated by the SPL.
The annual ‘Your Voice, Your Choice’ (YVYC) vote takes place now through July 16th, and gives everyone, age 13 and older, a chance to select which projects will be funded – out of a list of 1,000 projects submitted at public meetings held around the city last January.
The second Ben Franklin Circle takes place on Tuesday, June 26th, from 6p – 7:45p, at the Fremont Branch Library. This discussion group offers an open opportunity for our community to come together and talk about virtues, and what we contribute to the world.
