SPL Free Museum Pass Program Expands To Include WPZ

The Seattle Public Library offers numerous opportunities and benefits to cardholders, and one of the lesser known is free admission passes to 16 Seattle area museums and cultural organizations. Woodland Park Zoo has just been added to the generous list of locations that Library cardholders can access, and our Zoo is the largest ticketing partnership now in the Museum Pass program.

On Saturday, Learn History Of Fremont’s Industrial Lands

On Saturday, January 20th, at 2p, Fremocentrist.com is hosting an educational presentation at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, on ‘The Industrial Evolution of Fremont.’ Local landowner and neighborhood icon, Suzie Burke, will speak on how the industrial zones of Fremont have changed and adapted over the last 100 years.

Fremont Library Hosts A Poetry Reading By Three Local, Published Authors

On Monday, January 8th, from 6:30p – 7:45p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library will co-host a free, public poetry reading by three of leading, published poets from around our region. The quarterly ‘Evening of Poetry’ offers access to original poetry, read by the authors, presented in partnership with co-host Floating Bridge Press.
