Pre-Pride Swimsuit Show at The Backdoor

On Thursday, June 27th, at 8p (doors at 7p – for those who want a great seat for viewing,) The Backdoor and Under U4Men will stage the ‘Pre-Pride All-Male Review Swimsuit & Underwear Show’ as a fundraiser for Lifelong AIDS Alliance.

Fremont Dancers Compete In ‘Dancing With The Seattleites’

Instructors from local dance studio Salsa Con Todo will participate in the dance competition ‘Dancing With The Seattleites’ this Saturday, June 15th. Please consider voting during the competition at the South Lake Union street fair, ‘Art On The Fly.’ This dance and music celebration also kicks-off a two week Seattle International Dance Festival.

Music In The Sculpture Garden Concert Series Continues

This Sunday, June 16th, at 2p, enjoy another installment of the 9th Annual Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series in the covered courtyard of History House. This week the free, open-to-the-public concert features original music by singer-songwriters Stanley & Kip Greenthal and traditional and original Shetland music by North Sea.

The Fremont Fair Throws Down a Canvas for the Arts

At the Fremont Fair, June 21st – 23rd, art in every form – from body paint to community sculptures – can be found along the streets of the Center of the Universe. This celebration of “De Libertas Quirkas,” (the Freedom to Be Peculiar) can be enjoyed through the artistic whimsies of chalk art, handmade jewelry, and live music.
