On Saturday, October 21st, from 6p – 9p, dancers (and enthusiasts of all shapes and sizes) will gather at Hale’s Palladium for Dance Your Cash Off, a peer-to-peer fundraiser benefiting The Greater Seattle Bureau Of Fearless Ideas.
The 12th Annual Charity Day will take place at Oohla’s Salon & Gallery on Sunday, November 5th, from 10a – 4p. Clients can come in, get a beautiful haircut, quality color, and/or gorgeous style, and all the money they pay will go to a specially selected non-profit.
We want everyone to have fun this Fall! Please save the dates, and spread the word, as Trick-or-Treat and Fremont Festivus arrive soon!
Next February, 2018, the Aurora District Friends of Scouting will hold a fundraising breakfast at the Woodland Park Zoo Rainforest Pavilion – and they could use our support. The breakfast raises money for scouting in North Seattle, through sponsorship and donations made at the event, to send scouts on a sea cruise, camping trips, and teambuilding experiences at Camporee.
September is Hunger Action Month, and our local food bank FamilyWorks is trying to raise $6,000 to fund its programs – particularly the Greenwood Food Resource Center. Thanks to an anonymous donor, every donation will be matched this month, up to $500.
Right now, tickets are on sale for the 5th Annual Spookfacular Fundraiser for Moisture Festival, taking place on Friday, October 27th at Hale’s Palladium.

On Monday, September 11th, the Bloodworks NW mobile unit will be at the Fremont Adobe offices at 801 N 34th St – and volunteers are urgently needed from 9a – 3p to give blood and save a life!
The 21st Annual Fremont Oktoberfest returns September 22nd – 24th, and it needs volunteers to be successful.
