Help families in need, in our community, with gifts for children living in poverty. The FamilyWorks Food Bank & Family Resource Center likes to offer clients the option to ‘shop’ for gifts to give their children. This is a tangible way to help impoverished families, by donating new gifts for the ‘Holiday Shop’, for children ages 0 – 17.
On Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th, from 10a – 6p, the Fred Meyer store between Ballard and Fremont (and behind Hale’s,) will host Santa Claus, for photos, the telling of wishes, and accepting donations to Relay For Life and The American Cancer Society.
