Last Chance To See Sloth Bears At Woodland Park Zoo This Weekend

This weekend, see the Sloth Bears – Randy and Tasha – at the Woodland Park Zoo for the last time until the completion of construction on their new exhibit space, scheduled for 2014. To say good-bye to the bears, who will move into an off-view area for the duration, stop by the Zoo on September 15th -16th between 9:30a – 6p. Entrance fees will apply.

Show Support For ‘Quiz Night For Day’ At Pecado Bueno

On Tuesday, September 11th, from 7p – 9p, the second-ever ‘Quiz Night For Day’ will take place at Pecado Bueno. While registration has closed for teams to play in the trivia contest, there will be rooms for (quiet) spectators who want to dine and donate to B.F. Day Elementary School.

Dog Lost Near Gas Works – Can You Help?

On Thursday, July 12th, a 60lb. black Viszla mix dog ran away, and her family is very anxious to see her back home. She got lost near Gas Works Park – last seen in Wallingford near 45th Street – after the thunderstorms.

Get Fit for B.F. Day

Next Thursday, July 12th, the first ever Fremont Gym-A-Thon fundraiser starts – and participants can get fit while raising money to improve the B.F. Day School Playground.
