Fremont Chamber Hosts Safety Forum With The Candidates

On Thursday, October 19th, at 8a, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce will host a neighborhood safety forum, with discussion of issues of greatest concern to attendees. The Fremont Chamber has invited the candidates up for election on November 7th to take part in this discussion, and share how they will serve us in safety.

District Four Public Safety Open House At Gas Works

On Wednesday, August 16th, from 5p – 7p, Seattle City Councilmember Rob Johnson will be hosting a Public Safety Open House specifically focused on Council District #4. At the Gas Works Park picnic area, attendees can hear from, and ask questions of, experts in the field of homelessness and crime prevention.

FOUND: Personal Electronic Device Near Burke-Gilman Trail

Last week, in the week after the Fremont Street Fair, some Fremont residents found a personal electronic device near the Burke-Gilman Trail and Fremont Canal Park. They have turned in the device to Fremocentrist.com, in the hopes that readers might be able to reunite the owner with their possession.

Fremont Chamber Hosts Safety Meeting On Homelessness & City Resources

On Wednesday, March 15th at 8a, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce is hosting an educational event at the Fremont Foundry. This meeting will feature a discussion on City Resources as regards Homelessness, Sharps and other drug paraphernalia, and Housing. Expect an energetic and engaging exchange among business owners and managers, as we find out ways to help and to solve these problems.
