See in the New Year with Moisture Festival style, for a zany, all-ages, good time! This Saturday, December 31st, at Hale’s Palladium, entertainers and supporters of the comedy/varieté festival will gather. Over the eight days of Chanukah, also known as ‘The Festival Of Lights,’ A.J. Epstein has installed a progressive lumina display in the store front of the Ethereal Mutt building, where the West of Lenin theatre operates.
For the first time in many years, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will sell tickets to their singular Winter Solstice Feast celebration. Traditionally only volunteers who participated in creating this evening of food, music and art were allowed to attend. This year a very limited number of tickets have been made available for purchased – in advance only – through Brown Paper Tickets.
This weekend the Fremont Players invite everyone who wants to see live theater – and interact with it from the safety of their chair – to come down to Hale’s Palladium for their new production of ‘Peter Pan’. From December 1st – 11th, West Of Lenin will host ‘A Pale And Lovely Place,’ a musical, black comedy, one-man show written and performed by Kevin Joyce, and directed by Kevin Kent.
Much to their chagrin, Sound Theatre Company and Stone Soup Theatre have actually had to turn away people showing up for performances of their hit, joint production of ‘The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr(ABRIDGED)’. In an effort to fit more folks in, they’ve added an evening show to the last day of the production’s run – on this Sunday, on November 27th at 8p.
The Fremont Players offer up their annual British Panto performance, this year taking a twist on the family-favorite ‘Peter Pan’.
