On Monday, January 22nd, from 6p – 8p, take ‘A Wine Tour of Italy’ with North Seattle College and The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar. Become more familiar with the main regions, grapes and classic styles of the wines of Italy.
This continuing education course involves tasting wines from the north of the country – Verona, Friuli, and Piedmont – and the heading south – Tuscany, Umbria, and Campagne – and then to the islands of Sardegna and Sicily. Taste your way through the Italian countryside, with no passport needed.
Students must be 21 or older, with picture identification required, and it is recommended that everyone eat before arriving. Register through the North Seattle College (click here,) with a registration fee of $39, and a $10 materials fee due to the instructor.
