The 2014 Fremont Universe Wiffleball Classic Tournament Winners Announced

On Saturday, September 6^th, a few hundred people gathered at the Upper Playfields of B.F. Day Elementary School to raise money for the school – and compete for the unique Fremont Wiffleball Trophy.

The Fremont Chamber of Commerce produced this fun, and frankly funny, sports event and according to Jessica Vets, Executive Director, the winners were:

Third Place – Fitness Fanatics (sponsored by Balanced Personal Fitness, and Jay Holby)
Second Place – Adobe Where’s Frank (sponsored by Adobe Systems)
First Place Champions – Hallows’ Church Hit-tites (sponsored by The Hallows Church)

Thanks to the volunteer umpires, ball boys and operators of the Home Run Derby! Most especially, thanks to Ken Saunderson and Frank Costa who created this special spectacle! This event raises much needed money that will support sports and physical fitness at our public elementary school.
