On Saturday, July 16th, from 6p – 11p, see musical talents traveling the Pacific Northwest by bicycle as part of the Biketopia Music Festival this summer, at Outlander Brewery with no cover.
The West Coast tour of Pleasant Revolution is bringing a collective of 18 talented musicians and performers to Fremont, by bike, and powering their entire stage by audience-powered peddling generators. Come see the Latin circus funk band Bicicletas Por La Paz (Bicycles For Peace,) and neo-folk-soul artist Heather Normandale.
The Biketopia Festival brings a message of love, peace, bikes, music, environmental awareness and sustainability from town to town – and venue to venue – with a one-night-only stop in Fremont.
Pleasant Revolution also presents the Biketopia Music Festival at Peddler Brewing Co on July 15th, and Seward Park on July 17th, before continuing on to venues around British Columbia, Oregon, and the California Bay Area. These inspiring concerts intend to serve as educational empowerment and encouragement for cooperative self-sufficiency.
Find more information on Pleasant Revolution, and the Biketopia Music Festival, on-line, although no advance tickets will be needed for the free show at Outlander Brewery.
