Experience A Concert & Sensory Tasting In The Pitch Dark!
Coming June 8th & 9th, at 7:30p, the Seattle Blind Café provides a mind bending and heart-opening experience. Audiences will indulge in a ‘sensory tasting experience’, then participate in a question & answer session with the blind wait staff – all accompanied by a concert of original music by Rosh & One Eye Glass Broken…and all done in the pitch dark!
The Blind Café has delighted audiences around the U.S. and internationally, and it now comes to Seattle – and Fremont’s own Baptist Church. This delicious sensory tasting experience will be prepared with love to delight your senses, along with the poetry of Rick Hammond, and unencumbered music listening free of visual conditioning, social etiquette and/or cell phones!
“My husband, Aaron and I made a date night out of The Blind Cafe and it actually made a pretty big impact on our marriage…I realized (again) how important it is to just enjoy the life that I’ve been given, so since then I’ve been cutting back on things that to me are superfluous, and been focusing on what’s really important.”
– Elizabeth Lehr / Austin Blind Cafe Guest
This community experience allows people to connect, learn and grow from working together to participate in something greater. The Seattle Blind Cafe will help you feel more alive, awake, present and connected to your world. Also, a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to support the Seattle blind community.
Vegan or vegetarian options can be provided. Tickets can be purchased on-line. Seatings do sell out, so book early for your whole party.
