In addition to this week’s line-up, the festival also includes a couple of writing workshops – one being held this Saturday, April 9th, in the UpStage from 2p – 5p. The workshop, titled A Playwright’s Obsession, Au Audience’s Delight, will be taught by Amy Morley and focus on generating dialogue for the 10-minute play form. A second workshop, called Write A Play, Right Now, and taught by Rebecca Goldberg, will take place on Saturday, April 16th. Attendance at both workshops will be limited to 12 and cost only a $10 suggested donation.
After this week, the Double (XX) Play Fest will continue for two more weeks, with many more opportunities available. Next week, on Friday & Saturday, April 15th & 16th, will be the 24-hour, all-female play marathon. To find out more, and purchase tickets, visit the Stone Soup webpage.
