The year ends for Rotary International at the finish of June, and on July 1st, the Rotary Club of Fremont celebrated the out-going President and welcomed the President-Elect to the leadership. Now Past-President Jeff Hickey handed over the reigns of the small but very active club to Kurt Kapusuzoglu.
The Fremont Rotary, also known as the Fremont Fun Club, was unable to hold its usually party, due to COVID-19 concerns and precautions, but they still marked the transition with fellowship and a dinner of Dick’s Drive-In burgers and fries. Usually, the Rotary Club of Fremont meets Wednesdays, at 5:30p, at Hale’s Brewery but has been using Zoom to meet for the last four months.
