This summer, on Sundays, if you are seeking a fun way to frolic through Fremont – and maybe show visiting friends and family a good time – consider joining The Fremont Tour. The weekly, 80-minute program begins in Solstice Plaza (behind the J.P. Patches statue,) at 1p, with advance tickets available through Brown Paper Tickets.
The Fremont Tour mission, according to founder Mark Ukelson, is to ‘encourage people to find their playfulness through art and history.’ The Tour roams among the legendary public art of Fremont, sharing stories and engaging in moments of improvisational street theater. One special feature of The Fremont Tour is the rare viewing it offers of the Fremont Rocket lifting-off.
Tour prices are $20 for mature (but playful) adults; $16 for somewhat serious seniors & students; and free admission for children under 10 (or older than 90.) Purchase tickets, and get more information, through Brown Paper Tickets.
