This summer, The Fremont Tour returns to the Center of the Universe, promoting the quirky public art with an 80-minute, guided walk through the neighborhood, taking a turn on the odd spectrum. This family-friendly, ADA accessible, interactive tour takes place this summer on Sundays, through September 2nd, at 11a and 1p, starting on Solstice Plaza (711 N 34th St – on Patches Place.)
This Tour mixes improvisational street theater, using props and costumes to playfully tell the stories of Fremont public art. From firing off the Fremont Rocket to staging an Art Attack, this is no boring art lecture but a fun and unique look at the neighborhood – perfect for entertaining visitors and family from out of town on a Sunday.
The Fremont Tour distributes ‘Troll Money’ during its games on the tour. Troll Money, created with the help of the Fremont HomeStreet Bank, a sponsor of the Tour. ‘Troll Money’ can be used after the Tour for discounts at several favorite Fremont establishments including:
- Les Amis
- Liten
- Portage Bay Goods
- Pie
- Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill & Irish Pub (Fremont location)
- Show Pony
The Fremont Tour takes place rain or shine, and has limited space so advance reservations are highly recommended.
