Thanks to a small grant from the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, the Friends Of the Troll’s Knoll are developing designs for expanding the parkland around the Fremont Troll sculpture to the East.
Any design will focus on the east-side of the Highway 99/Aurora Avenue, and the east wing of the Troll – but not on the actual sculpture site. The Friends Of the Troll’s Knoll are working with landscape architecture firm Studio 41 on creating a plan for the east side, with hopes to compliment the improvements made on the west side and create more opportunities for visitors with a comprehensive plan overall for the complete Troll’s Knoll.

Everyone living near the Fremont Troll, or who love the area and want to be able to enhance their experience of it, is encouraged to complete the survey – and it is important that the Friends hear from everyone.
