The Panel Jumper Goes Live-Streaming From West of Lenin

Publisher’s Note 19 June ’20 – With very little explanation, The Panel Jumper Live-Streaming event, detailed here, was cancelled for June 20th.  Please refer to the Facebook Event page (click here) for more details.

Often sold-out, this installment of The Panel Jumper LIVE will be streamed – allowing EVERYONE (18 & over) to ‘attend’!

On Saturday, June 20th, at 7p, The Panel Jumper will be live-streaming for the first time.  This amazing evening of entertainment and education on the sequential storytelling arts, otherwise known as comics, will be available for viewing on a screen near you!

The variety/talk-show Panel Jumper LIVE Chapter IX had to be cancelled back in May, due to COVID-19 prevention safety, but organizers set to work retooling and rewiring this bi-annual event into something for safe viewing.

The Panel Jumper Live-Streaming will feature an archival interview with Rachel Jackson of Vox Fabuli Puppets Photo provided by Vox Fabuli

Hosted by Ben Laurance and Cole Hornaday, The Panel Jumper Live-Stream will have many of the same elements as the LIVE version:

  • musician Ron Hexagon serving up his sonic eccentricities on love & pizza
  • an archival video short called ‘Cole’s Corner’ featuring Rachel Jackson of Vox Fabuli Puppets
  • award-wining performer Nicol Cabe sharing her poignant and poisonous perspective
  • noir detective comic book character Beigey P.I. from writer/director/performer José Amador
  • and fresh new sketches, think pieces and a surprise or two!

Come celebrate nerd culture in all its myriad forms.  Produced in collaboration with West of Lenin, this revelry will leave you giddy and inspired by the local geek community.

This is a pay-what-you-can donation, and recommended for audiences 18 years-of-age and over.  Click here for the YouTube link to the Live-Stream of The Panel Jumper feature show.
