During April & May, 2016, Theo Chocolate will give $10 from each sale – from the Theo website or factory store – of their new, wonderfully delicious cookbook to Mary’s Place. The non-profit seeks to empower homeless women, children and families to reclaim their lives by providing shelter, nourishment, resources, healing and hope, in a safe community.
The $10 donation will go towards providing practical tools and resources to help women find housing and employment, to keep struggling families together, and to advocate for families in emergency situations, in need of assistance.
The ‘Theo Chocolate: Recipes and Sweet Secrets from Seattle’s Favorite Chocolate Maker’ costs $24.95. It features 75 sweet and savory recipes, as well as the story of how Theo came to be and its start in Fremont. The cookbook celebrates the decadent pleasure of enjoying excellent chocolate with recipes to make-at-home, along with full-color photographs throughout.
