The Fremont Oktoberfest is coming – September 23rd to 25th. This annual fundraiser for the community programs of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce brings inventive craft brews and traditional German tastes to the ‘Center of the Brewniverse.’ View the full beer line-up on the Fremont Oktoberfest website.
In addition to the more than 80 craft beers to sample, Fremont Oktoberfest has the annual 5K Alpine Climb race, the competitive Street Scramble location hunt, live music, the Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving, and the CityDog Magazine Dog Model contest. Also, keep in mind, kids are free for entry to Oktoberfest on Sunday – along with dogs!
Of course, the best way to see Fremont Oktoberfest is as a volunteer! However you enjoy it, purchase tickets in advance for the best deal – through Stranger Tickets. The hours for Fremont Oktoberfest are Friday from 5p – Midnight (21+ only,) Saturday from 11a – Midnight (21+ only,) and Sunday from 10:30a – 6p (young children and dogs permitted.)
