Tickets have just gone on sale for the 2013 Feast of the Winter Solstice – an annual bacchanal of the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) on Saturday, December 21st – and tickets are selling fast!  Visit Brown Paper Tickets now to secure places at the tables, for you and for all family and friends.

Tickets cost $25 per person (entry is free for those under age 16) and all guests are also required to bring a dish of food to share.  Also, bring your own plates, utensils and beverages.

Dress up in fine costumes or fancy dress, and arrive when the doors open – at 6p – to select the best headdress to put you in the spirit of this elegant event.

For those who want to help assemble, adorn and assist with this grand Feast, the Opening Ritual will be held Thursday, December 12th at 7p at the Feast site – the former Stoneway Roofing building (3636 Stone Way N.)  Volunteers will also be needed:

  • December 13th from 4p – 10p
  • December 14th & 15th from 10a – 9p
  • December 16th – 18th from 4p – 10p
  • December 19th – 20th from 3p – 11p
  • December 21st from 10a – 4p

For those less interested in feasting (and ritual,) the Fremont Arts Council will be selling special tickets for the ‘the Longest Night Of The Year Dance Party’ which starts at 11p – for only $20.  Look for tickets, and more information about the Feast of the Winter Solstice, on the FAC website and Facebook page.
