Great parties take place all over the Center of the Universe on December 31st, for all styles of celebrations, and dimensions of pocketbooks!
Ring in 2017 with the Moisture Festival and the New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at Hale’s Palladium. This is one kickin’ party, set to the serious funk stylings of Lamonte & The Family Affair, with performances by Godfrey Daniels, Esther de Monteflores, Tom Noddy and more! Count down to midnight and the traditional marking of the new year with the Godfrey Balloon Drop. Purchase tickets for $65 per person through the Moisture Festival website, but only through December 25th.
In addition to Moisture Fest festivities, check out a few other NYE options:
- The Backdoor Saturday Night Fever is packed with burlesque, bands and bubbly. Dawn a mask and get your groove on with the hottest underground disco hits. Ticket packages range from $40 – $850, and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets.
- The Barrel Thief will host its annual Prohibition New Year’s Eve, with a special cocktail menu, rockin’ Swing Era tunes, Champagne tasting flights and an opportunity to dress to the nines! This party is free, with no advance tickets necessary – although the space isn’t huge, so arrive early for a good spot!
- Fremont Foundry will be hosting the Bollywood New Year’s Eve, produced by Wicked Karma Entertainment. With several bars, two floors of celebrations, DJ’d dance music, professional photos, party favors, and a roof-top patio for viewing fireworks around the city, this party will be one of the highlights of the night! Get your feed on from the on-site food truck, and enjoy an all-around great time! Tickets cost between $22 – $68, and can be purchased through EventBrite and Wicked-Karma.com
In addition to these great opportunities for seeing in the New Year, Nectar Lounge, and High Dive will also be hosting parties worth checking out. Visit their websites for information.
The new year is going to be full of fun in Fremont. Start it with a great party, at the Center of the Universe!
