While the full line-up of shows for the 2017 Zoo Tunes Concert series isn’t due until May 1st, tickets for the first few announced shows go on sale on April 21st.
The BECU Zoo Tunes concerts, presented by Carter Subaru, will take place all summer long, with live music on the vast North Meadow of Woodland Park Zoo.
Announced concerts so far include:
- June 20th: Seu Jorge presents ‘The Life Aquatic: A Tribute to David Bowie’
- June 22nd: Ziggy Marley
- August 2nd: Violent Femmes and Echo & The Bunnymen
- August 13th: Gregory Alan Isakov and Blind Pilot
- August 15th: Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Rick Springfield
- August 17th: Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home ‘Love & Comedy’ Tour with Richard Dworsky & The Roadhounds, Aoife O’Donovan and Fred Newman
- August 20th: St. Paul & The Broken Bones and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue
Tickets to all these listed shows will be on-sale, on-line, on Friday, April 21st. Gates to these shows open at 4:30p, with concerts starting at 6p, rain or shine, with no refunds or exchanges. New this year, bag checks will be conducted at entry to the concerts to search for weapons, glass bottles/containers, laser pointers, recording devices and selfie sticks.
