Have a community project idea, or a plan for improving our neighborhood? The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods provides support and money through the Neighborhood Matching Fund, with applications now being accepted through June 3rd.
Community and neighborhood groups are invited to apply for Neighborhood Matching Fund (NMF) grants up to $25,000. Three times a year applications are accepted, and this round ends on June 3rd. For smaller projects, the Small Sparks Fund provides funding up to $5,000, with applications accepted on a rolling basis through October 31st.
The City of Seattle has funded more than 5,000 projects through NMF since 1988 (including the Fremont Troll, improvements to the B.F. Day playground, and Trick-or-Treat In Fremont.) Find out more about how to get your project or plan funded by visiting the NMF website (click here.)
