Last week, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced new mask guidelines, including the freedom from mask wearing for those fully vaccinated from COVID-19 while outside and inside some locations.  The new guidelines did advise that face masks would be required in some general areas, including public transit.

The Federal mandate requires masks for riders and all transit employees while on buses and at bus stops.  King County METRO thanks riders for following these regulations, and all efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy.  Please maintain physical distances, wear a face mask, stay home when sick, and follow all safety guidelines (click here.)
