Trick-or-Treat In Fremont, 2020 Version, Looks For Input

While we won’t be able to gather like this, it is to be hoped we can bring back the enthusiasm of Trick-or-Treat in Fremont for 2020, safely! Photo by Adrian Laney, 2014

In 2020, Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31st.  Most of the usual plans for ‘celebrating’ Hallows Eve have been transitioned into virtual/on-line experiences (for more information on plans for TrollOween, please contact the Fremont Arts Council.)

However, the Central Instigator for Trick-or-Treat In Fremont is thinking to continue this traditional time for our children, with a lot of careful adherence to safety measures and mask-wearing!

Fremocentrist has been organizing Trick-or-Treat in Fremont for 11 years, but this year we are looking for input – from potentially participating businesses, parents and, if they wish, the kids we do this for!  Trick-or-Treat in Fremont could be an afternoon of semi-normalcy in a year quite devoid of it, or it could be a scary (in the bad way,) unsafe idea for those working hard to ‘flatten the curve.’

Please feel free to contact Fremocentrist.com at instigator@fremocentrist.com or 206-632-3170 with your carefully considered questions and concerns – and we will incorporate changes to make Trick-or-Treat in Fremont a fun, scary (in the good way,) and entirely safe activity for everyone!
