In February, Hale’s Palladium will host a special double-feature of live theater, with two productions on limited runs in Seattle.

First off, from February 6th – 23rd, Frank Olivier returns to Fremont with his unusual one-man vaudeville Twisted Cabaret, this time with a seasonal demented Valentine’s twist.  Sweethearts beware – Cupid is in the air!  This wild 90-minute mix of cabaret, burlesque and theater – declared “wickedly funny” by the New York Times – careens from sword swallowing to pickpocket magic to a ballet performed entirely on a unicycle.  Purchase tickets through Stranger Tickets, before the show sells out again.

Then, at weekend matinees from Feburary 8th through 23rd, enjoy cruel banter and child-hating wonderfulness with the U.S. Premiere of the ‘I Hate Children’ Children’s Magic Show.  A smash hit for four years at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, magician/performer Paul Nathan absolutely delights children and adults with this show of magic and sarcasm, with live music by John Anaya.  The one-hour show gets every child 8 years-old and older up on stage to participate in the antics.  Post-show, kids and parents can meet-n-greet their new favorite magician.  Purchase tickets, costing between $15 and $35, through Stranger Tickets.

Take time this February to enjoy some unusual, outrageous and never-before-experienced live performances.  Order tickets now, before time passes by and the opportunity vanishes!
