Every year Fremocentrist.com collects votes from Fremonsters for their choice for Fremont’s Best Business, Best Citizen and Best Non-Profit Organization/Project. This is a chance for our community to reward those who best represent the characteristics we value most. Two weeks remain to vote, and give your opinion on Fremont’s Best!
Vote for the very best of 2016 by Midnight, December 31st, at vote@box2219.temp.domains
As happens every year, voting began on November 15th, with people submitting their choices by e-mail and paper ballots, at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, and at public events held over the last month.
A rough tally of these votes, so far, revealed two or more votes submitted for:
- Best Business – PCC; Fremont Studios; Outsider Comics & Geek Boutique; Hana Design Ikebana; Red Door; Fremont Health Club; Dusty Strings Music Store & School; Fremont Vintage Mall; Portage Bay Goods; Fremont Coffee; and U-Park Systems.
- Best Non-Profit Organization/Project – Fremont Arts Council; the Rotary Club of Fremont (Fremont Fun Club); Fremont Oktoberfest; Fremont Abbey Arts Center; Troll’s Knoll park; and the FAC Solstice Parade
- Best Citizen – Rodman Miller; Suzie Burke; Reverend Judy Gay; Mike Osterfeld; Marko Tubic; and Catherine Hyland
While these choices lead in each category, time remains for a dark horse to race to the front and take the award. While each e-mail vote counts only once, friends and family are welcome to submit their votes as well.
Please, vote for the Non-Profit, Business and Citizen you feel is the best of Fremont for 2016 – and spread the word. Votes can be submitted to vote@box2219.temp.domains until midnight on December 31st.
