Next Sunday, June 8th, from 2p – 4p, enjoy another installment in the free summer concert series at History House. This week at the 10th Annual Music In The Sculpture Garden (MITSG), enjoy the always entertaining Hounds@Bay and THE Other Band. These acoustic, Pacific Northwest musicians have delighted crowds at several MITSG concerts over the history of the series. Don’t miss on your chance to hear them!
THE Other Band play ‘pop-folk with a blues attitude.’ Three singer-songwriters, and a bassist, THE Other Band provide listening pleasure and powerful harmonies, with often moving lyrics and tight instrumentation. Jim Nason, Steve Peterson and Larry Baumgartner form Hounds@Bay, with a mission to play guitar and, now that they are old enough, the blues.
This concert, and all the MITSG concerts through the end of July, has free admittance due to the partial sponsorship of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce. Other community supporters of the series, area businesses and organizations that help with donations to the musicians, include:
