VAM Studios Unveils New Space, & Venture, With A Live Tap Performance

On August 1st, VAM Studios will reveal, on-line, their new, expanded dance and art space. Photo provided by VAM Studios

Since the Spring, VAM Studios has been under quarantine, for the safety of its students and staff.  Yet, on Saturday, the school will share its expanded space – and Mark Mendonca will give a digital Tap Master Class in the adjacent parking lot.

On August 1st, at 2:30p, VAM will unveil their expanded space, where they will be able to welcome even more dancers, and provide a venue for pop-up window art.  VAM is now occupying the retail storefronts of their building, where two businesses closed their Fremont locations (Judy’s Alterations and Ederra Lash & Beauty) after COVID quarantine began.  VAM has done considerable remodeling to the space, and will now use it for an expansion of their offerings.

After showing off the new space, and the options it provides, VAM co-Director Mendonca will teach a Masterclass, with a few students and staff, outside.  The Tap Masterclass will be available on-line, on the VAM YouTube Channel.  The class is free, although donations are being asked to go toward the VAM Relief Fund.
