Virtual Town Hall With 43rd Legislative District Elected Officials

The 43rd Legislative District currently covers the entirety of the Fremont geographic neighborhood.

On Saturday, March 13th from 1p – 2p, the elected officials that represent Fremont on the State level will be a part of a Virtual Town Hall open to all of those who live and work in the 43rd Legislative District.  Representative Nicole Macri, Representative Frank Chopp and Senator Jamie Pedersen will be on-hand to hear questions, thoughts, concerns and hopes for the current session of the State legislature – and the future for our state.

According to Representative Macri, the issues the legislature intends to work on this year include:

  • the COVID-19 public health response
  • economic recovery from the pandemic
  • vaccine availability
  • unemployment insurance, and the Employment Security Department
Join in this Virtual opportunity to speak with our elected officials.
  • racial justice
  • climate justice
  • housing security
  • balancing the upside-down tax code

The Virtual Town Hall on March 13th will stream live on Facebook, YouTube and on Twitter @WaHouseDems.  There is also a Facebook page for submitting questions and/or comments before the Town Hall, or live during the Virtual event.
